Bath mat 60×90 Purple Polyester Lavender Breeze

The raised weave is what sets this model apart: the surface is built from rows of domed elements, so the mat looks substantial even without a pattern. The lavender is a pastel, so it combines calmly with white and light grey instead of becoming the only spot of colour. The texture also makes it heavier than the flat models, so it stays put better.

Polyester works on speed in a bathroom: the fibre takes almost no water into itself, so the mat dries between the morning and the evening shower and never has time to go damp. Print holds longer on synthetics than on natural fibre, and the pattern does not fade in the wash.

Washing every two or three weeks at 40 °C is enough; in between, shake the mat out and let it dry. Bleach and drying on a hot radiator both shorten the life of the pile.
