A correction first: the earlier description called this pelt lettuce green, which is wrong. The wool is dyed a grass green with an olive lean, the tone of moss, deep and slightly subdued, without yellowness and without any acid brightness.

Green of this saturation is rare in floor textiles, so the pelt is usually bought as an accent: one bright patch on a neutral floor, next to light timber or grey stone.

The second green of the line, the bog green sheepskin 90×180, is quieter and drifts towards grey. Side by side the difference is obvious: grass rings clear, bog stays subdued.

At 90×180 cm the piece covers the walkway along a bed or the area in front of an armchair. Remember that green shifts with its surroundings: warmer beside oak flooring, cooler and deeper beside grey concrete. Wool pieces of similar intensity are in the carpets catalogue.

The dye on wool is light fast, yet several hours of direct sun each day will soften the colour, so turn the pelt occasionally if the window faces south.
