Flatweave polypropylene rug Kerala 2608-32 grey 200×300

No pile

Kerala has no conventional pile: it is woven flat, like sisal matting, and the pattern comes from yarns of different colours and changing weave directions. The close-up shows a herringbone texture and thin dark lines between the bands; they are slightly raised and give a relief. The rug is thin, so doors and chairs pass over it without catching, and dust does not sink in.

Waves

Smooth waves run diagonally across the rug: light grey-beige, medium grey-brown and dark graphite. Each band has its own texture, so the pattern stays readable even in a muted palette. The calm colours suit concrete, pale wood and grey furniture.

Care

The polypropylene weave does not absorb moisture: wipe stains with a damp cloth and collect dust with an ordinary vacuum, without a turbo brush. This rug works well where it is cleaned often, under a dining table or in a corridor.

Size and placement

The 200×300 cm format is standard for a living or dining room. For comparison, a pile rug of the same size with a light field is Ace 7461-60 with circles, and a warm graphic option is Rainbow 9690-610. More contemporary designs are in the modern rugs section.
