Polypropylene rug Rainbow 9690-610 red and beige 140×200

Colour and line

The rug falls into four colour zones. On the left is a creamy beige wave, then orange, then red, and a deep wine shade on the right. The borders between them curve gently, and a winding black band of short dashes crosses the whole rug like a path or a seam. This single dark element holds the bright colours together and sets a diagonal movement.

Polypropylene

The pile is dense, low and springy. The synthetic fibre keeps its colour, does not fade by a window and hardly absorbs liquid, so stains come off with a damp cloth. The rug weighs little and suits rooms where it is often moved or rolled up.

The 140×200 format

At 140 by 200 cm the rug is compact: it fits in front of a small sofa, beside a bed or under a desk chair. In a children’s room it covers the play area. If you need something bigger, look at 160×230 models such as Ace 7481-645 with blue blocks.

How to use it

Red and orange look good on light wood and next to grey or white furniture. If the room already has bright objects, let the rug remain the main accent. The warm palette with a circular pattern is repeated by Ace 7461-60. More designs are in the modern rugs section.
