Rug Super Shaggy 6500-444, green, 240×340

Colour and texture

The rug is plain, with no pattern: everything rests on colour and pile. The green is calm and mossy with an olive undertone, so in a room it works as a neutral base rather than a loud accent. The pile is tall and dense — the photos show a hand touching its tips instead of hitting the backing. Walking on it barefoot is pleasant, and furniture on top looks as if it stands on grass.

Polypropylene, Belgium

A model from the Super Shaggy line, machine-made in Belgium from polypropylene. The fibre does not absorb moisture and does not mind light, so the colour stays even. A high pile needs the right care: vacuum without a beater brush and set furniture on felt pads.

The 240×340 format

The rug is built for a large room: under a sofa, armchairs and a coffee table at once. All long-pile models are in shaggy rugs. Another 240×340 rug in the same line is Super Shaggy 6575-67.

What to pair it with

Green goes well with white and pale grey walls, light wood and terracotta ceramics. If the room holds many dark objects, a mossy rug becomes a calm backdrop rather than a patch. More plain and patterned rugs for large rooms are in modern rugs.
