Oval wool rug Green Classic with roses 250×350

What is on the rug

The middle of the oval is creamy. It holds a diamond-shaped medallion with a bouquet of roses, their petals ranging from pale pink to cherry with darker centres. A shaped emerald band surrounds the medallion and is the main colour accent of the model. The outer ring is light again, with a garland of small roses and leaves, and the edge ends in a thin green line and a white fringe.

Relief and wool

The rug is woven by hand, and the outlines of buds and leaves are then carved. As a result each flower stands out above the ground, especially in window light. The wool pile is springy and warm, with a soft matt sheen.

Size and shape

A 250×350 cm oval is intended for a large living or dining room with a table for eight. Rounded edges do not catch on chair legs and soften a rectangular room. The smaller model of the series with a mint field is Green Classic 200×300, and a rectangular rug with a similar carved garden is Green Spikelet 300×400.

In the interior

The light centre goes well with beige walls, while the emerald band can be picked up by velvet upholstery or dark green curtains. Keep pink for small things such as vases, a throw or frames. Other traditional pieces are in the classic rugs section.
