Faux fur mat 60×90 brown

Brown is the only genuinely dark colour in this line. In the overall photograph the field gives off plum and aubergine, while a macro shot of the same mat shows even chocolate. Light explains the difference: short dense polyester reflects a lamp and a daylight window in different ways.

The practical side is obvious. A dark pile forgives what a white one will not. This mat goes by a bedroom door, under a desk chair, in a hallway between rooms, in places where people walk on it more than they admire it.

Its palette neighbour is the light brown mat 60×90, a pinkish grey taupe and the opposite of this one in depth. Darker and far costlier are the real cowhides for the floor.

Note that this is imitation fur rather than tanned leather, so it behaves differently: it does not stretch, it has no smell, and it is not one of a kind. Care comes down to vacuuming and shaking it out; we have no washing data.
