Polypropylene rug Ace 7462-230 black and white 160×230

Checks with stripes

The rug is divided into three rows of large squares. Some are solid, black or milky, others are filled with horizontal stripes of different widths, as if painted with a broad brush. These striped cells stop the chessboard order from looking mechanical: the eye keeps finding new combinations. The light tone is not a cold white but a warm milky one.

A note on colour

The warehouse data for this model also lists blue, but every photo shows only black and milky white. You can confirm the shade with a manager before buying.

Pile and care

The polypropylene pile is dense and of medium height. It does not absorb liquid, so a spot on a light square wipes off with a damp cloth if you deal with it at once. Black areas hide fine dust between cleanings. A normal vacuum nozzle is enough, and turning the rug once a season keeps wear even.

Size and pairing

The 160×230 cm size suits a living room in front of the sofa, a bedroom or a study. A contrast rug likes simple furniture: a grey sofa, black metal, light wood and green plants. The same Ace collection in colour is 7481-645 with blue blocks, and a light version with round motifs is Ace 7461-60. More designs are in the modern rugs section.
