Rug 8528A, beige-white-grey, 160×230

A pattern without a frame

8528A is pure abstraction. The field is covered in torn-edged patches: pale, almost white areas alternate with warm greys and taupes, and here and there a creamy tone shows through. There is no obvious repeat, so the rug looks slightly different from every corner of the room. There is no border either; the edge is finished with a narrow binding in a matching tone.

Why it is practical

A mottled neutral pattern hides dust, crumbs and footprints that would show at once on a plain light rug. That helps in a living room used every day and in a home with pets.

Size and material

The rug measures 160×230 cm. In the room photo it lies under the coffee table with the front of the sofa off the rug, which keeps a small room looking tidy. The pile is acrylic and the rug is machine-made; care is simple vacuuming without a beater brush and dry spot cleaning.

Which interior it fits

It is designed for minimalist and loft interiors: concrete or grey floors, light wood, linen. In a room that already has plenty of pattern, 8528A does not compete but acts as a quiet background.
