Cowhide rug tricolour 245×215 Caramel Velvet

The name comes from the texture: the caramel strands lie densely and give a soft velvety sheen in the light, without abrupt transitions. The brindle pattern is calm here, of medium frequency, the pale spine stripe divides the piece in two, and a large white mark with a clean border runs along one flank.

In the second photograph the hide is shot on parquet with one corner turned back, which shows the cream underside clearly, tanned leather with no coating. It also tells you how the piece will lie: the edge is soft, needs no lifting, and the hide settles against the floor by itself.
