Wool and silk rug 300×400 beige-brown Dartmut

A light pattern on a sand ground

The field of the Dartmut rug is light, sandy beige, and the drawing on it is laid out freely. Large flowers the colour of dark chocolate and olive leaves are spaced with air between them, while slender vines with small buds run through the gaps. The rug therefore does not look heavy, even though it is large.

Border and the gleam of silk

A cream border with brown rosettes and narrow bands of warm grey-beige runs around the edge. In the pale vines and petals a golden gleam of silk can be seen. It shows in side light and shifts during the day, while the main sand ground stays even.

A large room

At 300×400 cm the rug covers about twelve square metres. It is laid in a big living room under the whole seating group, in a dining room under a table with room for the chairs, or in a hall. The neutral sand ground suits both pale oak and dark parquet.
